The small chapel of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação dates from the 17th century.
The chapel was formerly placed inside a fortress, destroyed because of the earthquake of 1755. Of the fortress, only the portal is left.
The chapel owns an image of the patron saint of the 17th century and an image of the Crucified Jesus of the 19th century.
