The Cave of Ibn-Ammar has underground lakes and a fantastic atmosphere of stalactites and stalagmites. Estômbar is the birthplace of the Arab poet Ibn-Ammar that lived in the Algarve in the 11th century and according to history has poems of his writing in the famous book "Thousand and one Nights."
