Cape Saint Vicente, once known as Finisterra “the end of the world”, was an orientation point for sea routes from the 13th until the 16th century. A small lighthouse stands at the end of the promontory. Impressive 100m high cliffs and a panoramic view over the sea make for an unforgettable memory. Fishing from the cliffs is not without danger but popular by the local population. |
